Retailer support and development
In 2005, EM News Distribution created a new Sales Development team to provide retailers with access to a flexible and proactive resource of personnel who are trained to offer guidance, support and advice to retailers, all with the intention of improving sales of titles.
The services offered by the Sales Development team include:
- Information on the range and availability of titles
- Help with merchandising of displays
- Training for retailers on documentation and procedures
- Support and information on new and promoted titles
- Point of Sale materials
- New or replacement racking
- Stock control
- Updates on system developments to help retailers
- Access to planograms for merchandising and range development
- Help and leaflets for Home News Delivered initiatives
